When do pre-orders ship?Updated 7 months ago
At The Card Vault, we understand the importance of receiving your pre-orders on the official release date. We strive to ensure that your pre-orders arrive as close to the official release date as possible. Here’s how our pre-order process works and what you can expect:
Our Pre-Order Process
We usually receive pre-order items for all trading card releases a few days before the official release date. This allows us enough time to package and dispatch all pre-orders to align with the release date. Our goal is for pre-orders to arrive on the official release date.
Albeit very rare, some factors outside our control can impact this timeline:
- Distributor Delays: We rely on our distributors to ship stock to us on time.
- Courier Timelines: Once dispatched, delivery times depend on the courier service you selected at checkout.
Despite these challenges, we do everything possible to plan ahead and get your pre-orders shipped on time.
Magic: The Gathering Pre-Orders
For Magic: The Gathering products, we typically receive stock one day before the official release date.
- When the stock arrives in the morning, we prepare and dispatch pre-orders the same day, which means many customers will receive their orders on the release date.
- However, if the shipment from our distributor is delayed, pre-orders may be dispatched on the official release date instead.
Due to this, it's important to note that if you select Royal Mail Tracked 48 for your Magic: The Gathering pre-order, your order will likely arrive a day or two after the release date, depending on the courier’s delivery timeline.
What Happens if a Pre-Order is Delayed?
If the distributor or manufacturer delays a pre-order product, we will update the product page on our website to reflect the new release date as soon as we receive it. This ensures you are always informed about the latest timelines for your pre-order.
