What happens if my package is returned to sender?Updated 7 months ago

If your package is returned to us, what happens next will depend on the reason for the return. At The Card Vault, we’ll do everything possible to assist you and resolve the issue quickly.




Reasons for Return and Next Steps

  1. Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address:

    • If the package was returned because the shipping address provided at checkout was incorrect, incomplete, or misspelt:
      • Re-Shipment: If you’d like us to ship the package again, we’ll require an additional payment to cover the shipping costs.
      • Refund: If you no longer wish to have the package re-shipped, we’ll issue a refund for the product cost once the package is received back at our warehouse. The original shipping costs will not be refunded.
  2. Other Reasons for Return:

    • If the return was due to reasons outside of your control, such as a courier error, please Contact Us to discuss the next steps.




Processing Time for Returns

  • Domestic Returns (Royal Mail and DPD): Returns can take up to 10 working days to be delivered back to us and processed.
  • International Returns: Returns from international couriers may take up to 20 working days to arrive and be processed.
